Privacy Policy — Lesson Path

This Policy explains how Emerio Group LLC ("we," "us"), the data controller, collects and uses personal data when you buy lessons from Forge Accelerator and when you reach Archangel by completing them. It applies to every lesson we sell, whichever of our published works it is drawn from. If you subscribe to Archangel directly, our separate Privacy Policy — the page without "Lesson Path" in the title — governs that. 1. What we collect

Identity and contact data: your email address — the identity your purchases and access are kept under. Your name and billing address reach us from your payment.
Ownership data: which lessons you own, and which you have marked complete.
Purchase data: what you bought and when. Payments are handled by Stripe; we do not store your full card number.
Lesson records: for each lesson, that you bought it, that you marked it complete, that access to Archangel was earned and sent to you, and when you first used it — each recorded with the lesson, the level and the time.
Archangel interactions: the questions you ask and the responses you receive.
Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser information, and a signed cookie set when you use an access or sign-in link, which carries your identity — and, for Archangel, your level.
Communications: messages you send us, and your email engagement (opens, clicks).

2. What we do not collect — your notebook

The lessons ask you to keep a notebook, in your own hand. Nothing on the platform captures it. There is no field for it, no upload and no sync, and no lesson will ask you to enter, reproduce, paste, quote, summarise or upload any part of it — to Archangel or to anywhere else.

What a lesson asks you to bring to Archangel is the question your own work produced. How much of your own situation you choose to tell it is your decision, made knowingly, and what happens to what you type is described in §7.

3. How we use your data

To sell you lessons, deliver them, and keep them available to you.
To run the fourteen-day clock on the Archangel access you earn — which is why the moment you first use your link is recorded.
To stop you buying a lesson you already hold at that depth, and to hold you to the three-unfinished-lessons limit, which requires us to know what you own and what you have completed.
To send you email about your purchases and your access, and to tell you when a new lesson opens. We keep our own record of which lessons you have bought, and use it to send announcements only to the people they concern.
To understand which lessons are bought and completed, so we know what to build next.
To provide support, maintain security, prevent fraud, and improve what we offer.
To enforce access controls and to revoke Archangel access where these terms are breached.
To comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies we rely on: performance of our contract with you (to deliver what you bought); your consent (for marketing, and for any use of your Archangel interactions to improve the tool); our legitimate interests (to secure and improve what we offer, and to prevent you being charged twice for the same thing); and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time.

5. Service providers

We share personal data only with providers that help us operate the service, under appropriate agreements: our payment processor, and the hosting, database, AI-model and email-delivery providers behind the site and Archangel. We do not sell your personal data.

6. International transfers

We operate internationally, and your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards — such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses — to protect transfers of personal data.

7. Archangel

Archangel is our optional AI tool. You may reach it by completing a lesson or by subscribing to it directly. However you reach it, the handling is the same, and it is the handling set out in our Privacy Policy for the Archangel subscription: to provide the tool, we capture and store your interactions with it — the questions you ask and the responses you receive. How that data is used depends on your level. Your level is called Squire or Knight on the lesson path; those are the tiers that Policy calls Beginner and Advanced, and they are the same two tiers.

Squire (Beginner): your interactions are captured and stored so the tool can function, but they are not used to train or improve the tool.
Knight (Advanced): your interactions are captured and stored, retained as ongoing memory so the tool remembers your earlier context (you do not start from scratch each session), and used to help improve the tool over time. By using Knight access you consent to this use.

"Improving the tool" means refining our own knowledge base and instructions — it does not mean selling your data or using it to train unrelated third-party models. You may request access to or deletion of your interaction data at any time under §9, and you may contact us with any questions about how your data is handled.

8. Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide what you bought, then for any period required to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations, after which we delete or anonymize it.

Because a lesson you buy is yours permanently, the record that you bought it is kept for as long as your account exists. It is what stops us selling you the same lesson twice and what proves your ownership.

Where Archangel access has been revoked, we may retain a limited identifier — such as your email address — for as long as necessary to enforce that revocation, prevent renewed unauthorised access, and protect the security of the service.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. If you are in the EU or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. If you are a California resident, you may request to know or delete your personal information and to opt out of its "sale" (we do not sell it). To exercise any right, email main@forgeaccelerator.club.

Deleting your account data will end your access to the lessons you bought, because we will no longer hold the record of what you own. We will tell you so before we act on such a request.

10. Email

You will receive email about your purchases and your access, which we send because you bought something: a message confirming what you bought and carrying the link that opens your lesson, and a message when you have earned Archangel access. These are not marketing and you cannot unsubscribe from them while you hold what you bought.

Announcements of new lessons carry an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out of them at any time without losing anything you own.

11. Cookies

We use only cookies that are essential: a signed cookie that keeps you signed in after you use an access or sign-in link. We set no analytics or advertising cookies, which is why the site shows no cookie banner. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time; you will simply need your link again.

12. Children

Lessons are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. EU / UK representative

Emerio Group LLC is established in the United States. If we are required under the GDPR or UK GDPR to appoint a representative in the EU or UK, we will appoint one and update this Policy with their contact details. In the meantime, you may contact us about any data-protection matter at main@forgeaccelerator.club.

15. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time and will post the new version here with an updated effective date.
